The concept is simple yet awe-inspiring—you start your journey from sea level in Pafos and culminate at an astounding 1952m above sea level, at the majestic Olympus peak in the Troodos Mountain. Truly epic, isn't it?

This point-to-point course takes you from the picturesque Paphos coast through the enchanting Diarizos valley, the vineyards region, and dense coniferous forests, concluding at the island's summit, Olympus peak. OlympusMan is a day-long challenge, offering a glimpse of Cyprus's most spectacular scenery.

Before the day's light fades away, you'll stand triumphantly on the mountain's top. That's the moment you become an OlympusMan!"

  • The course is without doubt one of the most challenging Half Iron distances on the planet. An early morning 1.9k swim at Pafos harbor, followed by an 84km bike section with over a staggering 2,410 meters of ascent. The last leg would be an off-road half marathon with 460 meters of ascent gradually spiraling up to the summit of Olympus at 1952 meters.

    At the beginning of November the climate of Cyprus offers excellent conditions for such an endeavor! The Mediterranean Sea water is at a perfect 21°C temperature and crystal clear. The air temperature most likely will be at around 22-25°C on the lower sections with an expected 13-14°C on Olympus peak.

    SWIM: 1.9km

    Swim in the Pafos Municipal Baths / Alykes Beach

    BIKE: 84km | +2410m:

    Bike starts from Pafos (T1) to Troodos Square (T2) passing through the villages of Nikoklia, Mamonia, Agios Georgios, Kidasi, Agios Nikolaos, Chandria, Kato Platres, Paliomylos, Lemythou and Prodromos.

    Three (3) feed stations with water, fruits and ready mixed carbohydrates along the bike course will be provided at: 36km in Kidasi, 57km in Platres and 73km in Lemythou

    SWIM: 21km | +430m

    Run starts from Troodos Square (T2) and takes in two of the hardest and most scenic off road trails in Cyprus, the Atalanti and Artemis, climbs to Olympus peak.

    Three (3) feed stations with water, fruits, cocacola, cakes and ready mixed carbohydrates along the run course will be provided at: 3.5km, 12.3km and 16Km.
