It was brutal, it was long but it was beautiful and it was possible!

Never again.. #untilnexttime

2 NOVEMBER 2024

OLYMPUSMAN XTREME

Prepare yourselves.. it will be brutal!

Brutal, long, yet undeniably beautiful and achievable—the sentiments of David Chapman, the first person to conquer the test event of this extraordinary triathlon. Swimming, cycling, and running become a unique journey of endurance, demanding an exceptional blend of physical and mental strength to cross the finish line.

In the pre-dawn hours, summoning all the courage in the world becomes a necessity. As you plunge into the sea, rest becomes a distant memory, replaced only by pain and relentless effort. Your mindset, inner strength, and the beauty of nature serve as the only soothing elements. Yet, even these incredible components may sometimes feel insufficient. It's the profound dive into your soul that propels you toward the finish line.

At the end of the race, exhaustion reigns, and expressing those initial emotions is a challenge. You may not feel, enjoy, or even walk, but you can be assured that you've accomplished something beyond the reach of an ordinary triathlete. You've surpassed yourself—mind, body, and soul. You are an OlympusMan.

OlympusMan Xtreme in numbers:

222km distance  | 5720m ascent  | 3 sports  | 1 target, the summit

  • As David Chapman (finisher of 29 extreme events) said after the test event "It's not as tough as some but is much tougher than many."

Taking everything into consideration, we have provided some experience guidelines for those who want to enter the race in 2024. The guidelines are not there to "ban" you from the race but to help you make a concise decision before you press the enter on our registration form.
